The main reason I started to use the bullet journal system was that I wanted to better manage my personal projects and make them move forward faster. But it’s not always easy to plan things and set a strategy up to meet goals and complete projects. So I started to use the methods and tools I use at work as a project manager to better manage my personal projects in my bullet journal. I’m starting with the very beginning of the projects : how to get started with a new project, how to prioritize a list of projects and draw an action plan. Why and how can we improve our productivity at work? If I decided one day to be more productive at work, and to optimize the time I spend at the office, it’s because I wanted to work less and have more free time. The Bullet journal system has been a game changer for my productivity, but I’m also using productivity hacks and tricks to do more in less time and be efficient. I’m using the Pomodoro technique to be productive and efficient even if I feel a huge lack of motivation, and I’m taking advantage of my natural power hours to get shit done. Every minute is used to improve my productivity. These are simple yet effective techniques for day-to-day productivity improvement.

I’m using the bullet journal system for both my personal life and professional projects, with two separated notebooks. I work as an innovation project manager, and usually work on about 4 to 5 different projects at the same time. My bullet journal has become my best friend to manage multiple projects, including quarterly goals progress check, monthly action plans, and of course regular daily task lists and appointments. My system allow me to manage several projects and to stick to my priorities at any time. I don’t plan 100% of my working time because my work is also about managing the unpredictable and my planning process makes me able to be flexible and organised at the same time.
