I can’t believe June is almost over and that the second half of the year is starting in a few days. Summer is around the corner and it’s time to get ready for it, and for Q3 in general! Just like I did when I opened the blog 3 months ago, I designed a set of printables that you can use to get organized for the next 3 months and enjoy the energy of summer to achieve some of your goals.
Once again, all the layouts are based on the system I use in my personal (you can find a review of my weekly logs here) and professional bullet journals. I made some changes and some new designs, that some of you suggested on Instagram.
What doesn’t change
3 planners ready for use…
Just like I did for Q2, you will find 3 planners ready to be printed and used and that covers the period from June 26th to October 1st. Each planners features different options, the main variation being the weekly log set-ups. You can find:
- A horizontal 5 days on two pages layout, which is the one I use in my work bujo
- A vertical 5 days on 2 pages layout + a blank page for each week (to plan for the week-end or host collections)
- A horizontal 7 days on 2 pages layout
Each set-up features specific options as you can see in the table below:
There’s no big changes on these printables. I updated all the time sensitive information, and changed the design of the headers for something a bit more fancy. Each planner features 2 binding options: a A5 planner/disc bound notebook version and a handbound notebook one.
…with 2 binding options
Planners and disc bound inserts
The planner version fits all A5 organizers or disc bound notebooks. You can also print the files with this binding option and then chose a simple binding technique to put the inserts together: spiral binding, hot-melt glue-binding…
You can download the files in the Library :
Handbound notebook
The handbound version requires a little more time and effort, but it definitely worth it! And that’s a perfect reason to learn how to handbound a notebook if you can’t do it yet (the perfect tutorial is waiting for you right here!). Binding the inserts by sewing signatures together makes the notebook far more resistant than if you do it with only glue for instance, and the final result will make you super proud of yourself!
Tips to print the files
The files are made to be printed on A4 pages (ideally 80gr/m2 – I use Clairefontaine white paper), both sided. To make sure that your printables prints true to size, make sure that any option that says “print actual size” or “print at 100%” are checked. (more printing tips this way)
Turning a notebook into a bullet journal
stickers sheets for your set-ups
I’ve been asked a lot of questions about the black and white headers I use in my bullet journal. These are tiny stickers I print at home on auto-adhesive paper, and they are now available for free download as part of the Q3 printables!
I designed 3 pages of stickers to help you start a bullet journal on any notebook, once again based on the system I use on my personal bullet journal:
- an index layout to keep your journal spreads organized
- a mini calendar for your monthly set-up
- headers for your monthly and weekly logs
- some extra freebies
You can download the stickers sheets in the Library.
The best way is to print the labels on self adhesive paper, but regular paper and some glue will do. Don’t forget to check the “actual size” or “print at 100%” options during the printing process!
