Monetization & partnerships

The blog and it’s audience are constantly growing and so is the amount of work I put into it.

My goal is not to make billions with the blog, but to provide helpful content while generating a small profit to compensate myself for my time, work and ideas. As I aim to always be honest about how I run the blog, you’ll find all the details of my monetization policy below.

The following Terms of Use govern the use of all pages, posts, and social media associated with Minimal Plan (minimal-plan[dot]com).

General statements

  • This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. If I ever involve other contributors for a special post, the author will clearly be identified.
  • I find impossible to promote items I don’t like therefore if I am recommending a product or service it is because I truly like it. I always give my genuine opinion about a product or service whether or not I’m partnering with the service/product provider and/or receiving payment to do so.
  • This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. I do accept free products, services, travel, event tickets, and other forms of compensation from companies and organizations. I also participate in affiliate programs such as Amazon associates.

Free products

It happens that brands send me products for free for my review. They are clearly marked as gift from the brand if I mention them on the blog. This doesn’t mean I’m bound to make a post about it and does not ensure a positive review in any way.

Affiliate marketing

External links on the blog may be affiliate links that could result in me receiving compensation (payment) if you make a purchase through these links. While clicking these links won’t cost you any extra money, they help me keep this site up and running AND keep it ad free!

Sponsored posts

Sponsored posts are those posts where someone is paying me to write about a specific topic. The sponsored posts are clearly marked as being paid content. The sponsored posts are written by me, and I give my full opinion about the product or service it’s meant to promote. I try to keep every post I write as honest as possible, sponsored or not.
